The Worm Gets The Early Bird

NOTE (8/1/24): As a jam-wide extension was officially granted, I will be adding a bit more content to the game. Expect an update before the new jam deadline.

UPDATE (9/1/24): Content has been added and a finalised jam version has been uploaded (the file marked with 'JAM'). Content includes:

• Crow Absorption. (+ a dedicated crow counter) (however I should mention that the hitbox for this doesn't work sometimes...)
• A few story cutscenes
• More sound effects

And the game page itself has been edited a bit.

Synopsis:

• Momoyo is hungry and craving for crow tengu meat! So Megumu decides to entertain her for a while.
• In this weird mix-up of bullet hell and whack-a-mole, try to score as many points as you can by shooting at Momoyo.
• Absorb crows to get a score boost, but watch out: As your score increases, Momoyo will grow more aggressive with her attacks.

Controls:

• Arrow keys: Move
• Shift: Slow down movement
  
• Z: Shoot bullets
• Spacebar: Advance menus/scenes
